Down By the Sea Store started out of my love of candles, I made them as a child so it was natural
I'd find my way to making them again as an adult. Because of a very serious car accident I
became disabled and needed something that I enjoyed doing where I could make a bit of
money, living in a small rural area of southern Newfoundland, this was the perfect fit.
Friends and neighbours really enjoy my candles and soaps so I decided to offer them online,
first with an eBay Store, now with my own site. I plan to keep this a small business for now, I'm
not physically able to do too much and don't make enough money to hire someone, I prefer to
keep my prices low. Unfortunately I cannot accommodate wholesale orders.
